Automatic Twitter Location Update Service
Hi! My name is David Weekly . I started
PBwiki , but L0K8 ("locate", get it?) is a fun side project I coded up on
Sunday, May 11, 2008. It is a small Windows program that updates Twitter whenever
you change location. Later on I may add a Facebook app or
webhooks or whatever folks
would find useful for rebroadcasting their location information.
There are no ads or spyware.

Known Issues
You can't change your username or password and there's no password reset functionality.
You can't syndicate your location information other places than Twitter (e.g. using GeoRSS)
The Windows client is easily dissuaded from continuing to run.
The geocoding is not wildly accurate, especially outside the US.
The client doesn't autoupdate.
There is no Mac/Linux client.
You can't log in with OpenID.
There's no API.
Feedback?
I'd love to know what you think of the service and what you'd like to see it become.
